Belgian Betting Round 11: Anderlecht back on track?

Each week, BeNeFoot will bring you some interesting bets as the season progresses. Here are our top three picks for this weekend.

Mons – Anderlecht 2 @ 1.48 (9/10)

Anderlecht and especially coach John van den Brom need a convincing win against Mons this weekend. All the fans of Anderlecht are hoping that their last match, against Kortrijk, wakened up the players. Anderlecht lost 0-1 at home, the first victory ever for KV Kortrijk at the “Astridpark”. Although it was a tough week for all the international players of Anderlecht I can’t see them lose this friday. Mons started terrible this season and sacked their coach, former Belgian international and Anderlecht icon, Enzo Scifo. Even if Mons have a fantastic day they will have a difficult evening against this hungry Anderlecht. Mons are the only team in the Jupiler Pro League that haven’t won yet.

Cercle Brugge – Zulte Waregem 2 @ 1.90 (7/10)

Very good odd for a Zulte Waregem win this weekend. Cercle Brugge are doing better than last year but there’s definitely more quality in Francky Dury his squad. Lorenzo Staelens and Cercle Brugge will need some luck this season if they want to avoid Play Off 3 again. Zulte Waregem also need a win if they want to stay in the slipstream of Club Brugge and Standard Liège. Zulte Waregem are battling again for a place in Play Off 1 and so far they’re doing a great job. A win from Zulte Waregem would push Cercle Brugge to the bottom of the standings.

OH Leuven – Waasland-Beveren Draw No Bet 2 @ 2.75 (5/10)

Waasland-Beveren are 13th at this moment but they deserve much more than that. Glen De Boeck, manager of Waasland-Beveren, is an attacking coach who wants to dominate against every team in the Jupiler Pro League. Most of the time he and his team achieve doing that but they have it difficult to win matches. OH Leuven are 14th so this is a very important match for both teams. Ronny Van Geneugden, coach of Leuven, already conceded 15 goals in 10 matches this season. Waasland Beveren have a lot of quality in their team for a club with their budget. Trickovski, Coosemans, Oumarou and Milos Maric are a few of them. This team should escape from Play Off 3 quite easily.
