Belgian Betting Round 15: A lot of pressure on Alexandre Boucaut his shoulders

Each week, BeNeFoot will bring you some interesting bets as the season progresses. Here are our top three picks for this weekend.

Standard Liège – Club Brugge, Draw No Bet Club Brugge @ 3.10 (5/10)

Guy Luzon and his men played in the Europa League this weekend against Red Bull Salzburg and lost 1-3. Standard Liège is eliminated and can focus now on winning the title. Because of the weather conditions in Belgium the pitch is heavily damaged, certainly after this week’s match against Salzburg. Standard Liège only have two days to get everybody back in shape for the important game this sunday. Club Brugge don’t play in Europe anymore so their players will be fully fit for the game against “Les Rouches”. Alpaslan Öztürk, who was important in their 10 consecutive wins at the beginning of  the season, is suspended. Alexandre Boucaut, the referee for this match, has been accused by Club Brugge on their official website. According to Club Brugge, Alexandre Boucaut and the other referees penalise their club more then any other club. Will this affect his objectivity? Club Brugge Draw No Bet @ 3.10 is a good odd.

Cercle Brugge – KV Kortrijk, Draw No Bet KV Kortrijk @ 1.72 (7/10)

Cercle Brugge are in a good form lately. They won their last two games against Club Brugge and Waasland-Beveren. Lorenzo Staelens, coach of Cercle Brugge, is having more fun then last season. This week they host KV Kortrijk who are sixth just behind RSC Anderlecht. This is an important match for KV Kortrijk to settle them comfortable in the top six. Topscorer Ivan Santini is returning after his suspension. Hein Vanhaezebrouck, coach of KV Kortrijk, will really want to win this match as Play-Off 1 is really getting closer every match day.

KV Oostende – Mons, Draw No Bet Mons @ 2.18 (5/10)

President Marc Coucke will not be happy with this bet. His team are having a good last weeks with a good match against Anderlecht and KV Kortrijk. Unfortunately the lost both. They won the important game against Lierse SK the week before but they really need to win this battle against Mons. The latter are having a terrible start of the season but we all know that they deserve more than their total of 3! points in 14 matches. This is already one of the most important games of the season for Mons and they will do everything to beat KV Oostende to close the gap with the other Play-Off 3 contenders.
