Belgian Betting Round 21: Can Lokeren stop KV Oostende?

Each week, Bjorn De Cock from BeNeFoot will bring you some interesting bets as the season progresses. Here are our top three picks for this weekend.

KV Oostende – Sporting Lokeren, 2 @ 2.00 (6/10)

KV Oostende are in a good form the last matches. A Play Off 3 spot is far away, something nobody expected at the beginning of the season. President Marc Coucke already said this week that his team is five years ahead of their plans. Though we have to admit that they will have to do better than what they’ve showed in their last matches. Certainly against an attacking force like Sporting Lokeren they will have it difficult. Peter Maes and his men should be able to take the three points home.

Mons – KAA Gent, 2 @ 2.05 (5/10)

Mircea Rednic had a good streak with KAA Gent until he and his men met Anderlecht and Club Brugge. Against the title contenders, we saw that KAA Gent are improving but aren’t still there yet. Against Anderlecht they had a brilliant first half but a terrible second half. The match against Club Brugge was quite even but Michel Preud’homme and his men were more mature and finished the game without showing any mercy. Against Mons, who won their first game last week, taking the three points home are important if they still aim for Play Off 1.

Waasland-Beveren to score against Club Brugge @ 2.05 (5/10)

Club Brugge are winning points under Michel Preud’homme but the former KAA Gent and Twente coach wants more. Michel Preud’homme is a coach who asks his players to fulfil their particular tasks. His tactics demand time and a lot of discipline and concentration of his players. The injury of Tom De Sutter didn’t help him either. His team is still a bit shaky and that’s why this bet has a lot of value. The only man who can make us lose this bet is Club Brugge’s goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.
