Belgian Betting Round 23: Clash between Anderlecht and Club Brugge

Each week, Bjorn De Cock from BeNeFoot will bring you some interesting bets as the season progresses. Here are our top three picks for this weekend.

Sporting Lokeren – Standard Liège, both teams to score @ 1.63 (7/10)

The friday evening game of this weekend is a clash between Lokeren and Standard. Both teams are finding it easy to score this season. Standard already scored 46 goals in 22 matches, Lokeren 39 goals. You could say that Standard don’t concede that many goals but things will be different against this Lokeren side. Lokeren are always doing good against the bigger teams of the competition and with Junior Dutra, Hans Vanaken, Onur Kaya and Hamdi Harbaoui they have a lot of quality up in front. More then a decent odd for both teams to score in this game.

Zulte Waregem to beat OH Leuven @ 1.95 (5/10)

Zulte Waregem are still going hard. Last season, we all thought that their second place in the competition was a lucky shot and a once-in-a-lifetime moment. After 22 matches this season, they’re still doing excellent. Francky Dury and his men are close to another battle in Play Off 1 with the big three. When Golden Shoe winner Thorgan Hazard decided this week that he will stay at The Gaverbeek until the end of the season things only became better for them. The only question mark will be how they will cope with the loss of defending midfielder Junior Malanda, who moved to Wolfsburg, in the next couple of games. I don’t see them losing points this weekend after gaining so much confidence this week. Good odd!

Club Brugge to score @ 1.50 against Anderlecht (6/10)

This weekend’s biggest game is the clash between Anderlecht and Club Brugge. Anderlecht are missing Silvio Proto, second goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski will take his place. The young talented goalkeeper already played some games this season due to injuries. Important is that Kaminski also just returns after suffering an injury. Anderlecht is not stable enough this season as are Club Brugge. It’s very difficult to predict the result of this game. Both teams have enough quality to win this game but the coaches still haven’t found the right mix of players.
