Belgium ranked 16th after 2 wins against FYROM

The Red Devils will be ranked 16th in the official FIFA World Rankings on 11 April. After their 2 wins against Macedonia and their good previous results they keep on climbing. Marc Wilmots is not a man who wants to talk about statistics but nevertheless will this give a boost to the team. At the moment Belgium are better then Brazil, France and Uruguay to name a few.

With this 16th place they equalise their highest position ever. In the period 2003-2004 they were also ranked 16th but they could not improve and do better. It will be yet another challenge for this young group with Vincent Kompany as captain to break this record and the recent signs point to that being no problem.
